Where this website runs
The website runs on a server we rent from Hetzner in Germany. Cloudflare runs our domain's DNS and provides the contact form's spam check. The server keeps no visitor logs for this website.
What we collect and why
When you use the contact form we receive your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to discuss the work you ask about. The form's messages are delivered to our inbox by Resend, our email delivery provider.
The form also uses your IP address: to limit how many messages one connection can send, and in the notification email we receive. The form's service records the IP address with each message in a log that is rotated out after a few weeks.
To keep spam out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser and connection for signs of automated abuse. It loads only when you start using the form.
Some pages show YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube receives your IP address when a player loads, and may store data on your device when you play a video.
If you contact us by WhatsApp or email instead, we receive what you send there, and those services' own terms apply to how they carry it.

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. See the cookie policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and our replies for as long as we need them to handle your request and any work that follows, and then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email us and we will act on it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
